TSG Hoffenheim is often disliked by fans of other clubs because of their rapid rise through the German football pyramid due to financial backing from their billionaire owner, Dietmar Hopp. Many see Hoffenheim as a club that has bought its success rather than earning it through traditional means. Additionally, Hoffenheim's success has led to accusations of lacking history and tradition, which can alienate fans who value those aspects in a football club. Overall, the perception of Hoffenheim as a club that has bought its way to success and lacks history has contributed to their unpopularity among football fans. **

Both RB Leipzig and TSG 1899 Hoffenheim are successful German football clubs, but RB Leipzig has had more recent success in the Bundesliga and has also made a mark in European competitions. Ultimately, the choice between the two clubs may come down to personal preference and the style of football one enjoys watching. **
