To make crepes without a crepe maker, you can use a non-stick skillet or frying pan. Here's how you can do it: 1. Heat the skillet over medium heat and lightly grease it with butter or cooking spray. 2. Pour a small amount of crepe batter into the skillet, swirling it around to evenly coat the bottom. 3. Cook the crepe for about 1-2 minutes, or until the edges start to lift up and the bottom is lightly browned. 4. Carefully flip the crepe using a spatula and cook for another 1-2 minutes on the other side. 5. Remove the crepe from the skillet and repeat the process with the remaining batter. You can also use a flat-bottomed non-stick pan or a griddle to make crepes. Just make sure to adjust the heat as needed to prevent the crepes from burning. **

To prepare flatbread using a crepe maker, start by preparing the flatbread dough by mixing flour, water, salt, and any desired seasonings. Once the dough is ready, divide it into small balls and roll them out into thin, flat circles. Preheat the crepe maker and place the rolled out dough onto the hot surface. Cook the flatbread for a few minutes on each side, flipping it over once it starts to bubble and brown. Once both sides are cooked to your desired level of doneness, remove the flatbread from the crepe maker and serve warm. **

The crepe maker can still be used even though it is scratched. As long as the scratches are not too deep and do not affect the functionality of the crepe maker, it should be safe to use. However, it is important to monitor the condition of the crepe maker and replace it if the scratches worsen or pose a risk to food safety. **
